After earning my degree in art history from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, I went on to pursue intensive studies in painting restoration and archeological art restoration at the Istituto per l’Arte e il Restauro Palazzo Spinelli in Florence, Italy. I have a passion for texture and experimental techniques. I’m always heading into new territory in my studio including abstract expressionistic compositions of subtle nuance and atmosphere, landscapes where nature and human presence quietly intersect, raw abstractions elevated by a unique blend of thoughts and emotions partially revealed and obscured, and multi-media portraits inspired by Greco-Roman sculpture.
