Art Works

After earning my degree in art history from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, I went on to pursue intensive studies in painting restoration and archeological art restoration at the Istituto per l’Arte e il Restauro Palazzo Spinelli in Florence, Italy. I have a passion for texture and experimental techniques. I’m always heading into new territory in my studio, including abstract expressionistic compositions of subtle nuance and atmosphere; landscapes where nature and human presence quietly intersect; raw abstractions elevated by a unique blend of thoughts and emotions partially revealed and obscured; and multi-media portraits inspired by Greco-Roman sculpture. Some of my favorite mediums are acrylics, oils, ink, graphite, and mixed media including fiber, paper, and gold leaf.
